Verizon Media (intermittent tenure)

Director, Marketing, June 2017 – July 2019

​

Led integrated marketing communication activities for Verizon Media’s News and Entertainment businesses. Drove creative and communications strategy, bringing together Creative and Product Marketing teams on campaign development and creative execution. Program managed priority initiatives, namely the Yahoo rebrand, overseeing a team of leaders in corporate brand, design, creative strategy, and product marketing.

Managed a team of results-focused program managers focused on key marketing projects. Ensured quality and consistency across channels as well as adherence to processes, timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Brought together creative, CRM, social, media, communications, and analytics teams, as well as external agencies and partners to execute multi-faceted campaigns.

 

Marketing Director, Membership (AOL), 2014 - June 2017

Directed creative strategy and execution for $500M Membership subscription business. Managed team of designers and copywriters. Provided design direction, copy editing, and feedback. Worked across matrixed organization: development, design, marketing, and product. Planned and executed comprehensive marketing campaigns including print, radio, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising.

 

Program Director, Publisher Solutions (AOL), 2008 - 2010 

 

Designed and deployed scalable, strategic advertising tools and services to meet publisher needs and increase revenue opportunities. Worked within AOL Advertising, as well as with channel owners, Ad.com and external partners to define requirements and implement solutions.

 

Programming Director, Online Media (AOL), 2005 - 2007

 

Led end-to-end development and execution of key content programming initiatives. Managed simultaneous campaigns with complex marketing plans and promotional elements. Consulted on editorial approach, marketing and creative execution. Optimized sales opportunities.
